



How many variants are there in the Venue?
The Venue is offered in seven variants: E, E+, Executive, S, S+/S(O), SX, and SX(O). An Adventure Edition is also available for the SUV, which is based on the higher-spec S(O) Plus, SX, and SX(O) trims.
Which is the most value for money variant?Â
The S(O)/S+ variant of the Venue is the most value for money variant. It is the only variant which is available with all of the Venue’s engine options and also has an impressive features list, which covers all your creature comforts and essentials. What features does the Venue get?Â
The higher-spec variants of the Venue get features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, connected car tech, sunroof, cruise control, wireless phone charging, air purifier, and keyless entry with push-button start. The new Venue Adventure Edition also gets a dashcam with dual cameras.
In terms of safety, it gets six airbags, electronic stability control, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and level-1 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
How spacious is it?Â
The Hyundai Venue, being a subcompact SUV is better suited for 4 passengers, and 5 passengers will have to squeeze in. However, it offers good knee room, headroom and decent under-thigh support. Check out our story, to get a better idea of the Venue’s cabin space.
What engine and transmission options are available?Â
The 2024 Hyundai Venue is available with 3 engine options, all of which power the front wheels only. The options are:
- A 1.2-litre petrol (83 PS /114 Nm) paired with a 5-speed manual transmission
- A 1-litre turbo-petrol (120 PS /172 Nm) paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission),
- A 1.5-litre diesel unit (116 PS /250 Nm) mated only to a 6-speed manual transmission.

How safe is the Venue?
The Venue’s safety net includes level-1 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring, 6 airbags (as standard), a reverse parking camera, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The safety crash test of the Venue has not been conducted by Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP, yet.
How many colour options are there?Â
The Venue is available in six monotone and one dual-tone colour options: Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Abyss Black, and Fiery Red with Abyss Black roof.
The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition is available in four monotone exterior colour options - Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey. All colours except the Abyss Black colour can be had with a blacked-out roof.
Should you buy the Venue?
Yes, if you have a small family and are in the market for a well-packaged subcompact SUV that offers multiple powertrain options and all the essential features, the Venue can be considered. However, if you have a larger family with more than 4 people, you should consider mid-spec variants of SUVs such as Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos for more space. Also, if you are looking for a more feature-loaded SUV, you can opt for the Kia Sonet, but the extra features come at a price.
